6+years of asking “but why?”
for a living.

I didn’t start with a design degree. I started with a question, mid-engineering-degree, that wouldn’t leave me alone: why was technology built with so little regard for the human on the receiving end?

A content and graphic design internship answered it, almost by accident. Layouts became screens, screens became an instinct I hadn’t named yet. I formalized that instinct with a postgraduate programme in UX Design at IIT Bombay and a design-thinking programme at IIT Delhi.

That blend carried me through six-plus years: conversational AI at Honeywell, then enterprise platform design at Deloitte, where Big Four rigor became second nature. Even with that momentum behind me, I wanted to push further: I moved from Bengaluru to London for a Master’s in UX Design at Kingston, graduating with Distinction.

Today, that same question follows me into London, looking for my next senior product and UX role and teaching part-time as London Regional Lead with UXPective. No master plan to start with. Turns out, getting a Master’s was one.

Engineering taught me circuits, never why nobody asked a human how using one felt.

So I went to find out: a design internship, two IIT programmes, then six-plus years of conversational AI at Honeywell and enterprise platforms at Deloitte.

Then a Master’s from Kingston, Distinction, because apparently I love starting over when everyone I know is settling down.

Now: open to senior product and UX roles, and teaching the next cohort as London Regional Lead with UXPective. I’ll bring the question and the receipts.
